The Bennett Brook Railway - 0407 982 517

Whiteman Park, Ellenbrook

The Bennett Brook Railway winds for six kilometres through bushland and includes a number of restored station buildings. Catch a bushland loop train ride from the Village Junction Station or jump aboard at Mussel Pool Station (weekends only). Special programs and events including birthday parties can be booked .

All day fares:

Adults $8, Children (6 –16 yrs) $4, Toddlers $2

Castledare Railway

Castledare Miniature Railways operates

The 1st Sunday of each month

Niana Station Castledare Place Wilson

11am – 3:00pm

The 3rd Sunday of each month

Wilson Park Station Kent St. Wilson (Kent St. Weir)
10am – 2pm.

Entry to the grounds and use of the facilities is free. Access to the trains is by the walk way and stations. All other access is restricted on running days.

“We went to a fabulous place on the weekend in Wilson called Castledare Railway which had mini steam trains for kids to ride on.  It was great and included a playground, picnic and BBQ facilities, walking trails and access to the Canning River for kayaks and canoes.”

Hotham Valley Tourist Train - 9221 4444

Every Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday

School holidays; Sat – Sun, Tues – Thurs, however call 9221 4444 to confirm.

Note: Steam trains run from May to October and diesel from November to April.
