Creative Drawing

5 week workshop starting Tues March 2nd – 30th

Explore exciting drawing technique, develop your work through experimentation and learn how to draw form and volume.  The objective of the workshop is to give participants a solid foundation of knowledge and skill, as well as guidance to develop their own style.

Creative Writing

5 week workshop starting Tues Feb 9th – March 9th

Let your pen loose at this five week introduction to creative writing.  It’ll kick start your writing and also gives you confidence in your writing ability so you can enjoy the creative writing process.  This is a creative writing introductory course and is suited to writers who have not had formal training in creative writing.

Devising Theater

Reception Room, City of Fremantle, 8 William St, Fremantle

6 week workshop starting Thurs 4th Mar – April 8th

Participants will work together with a tutor to develop theatre and performance skills.   Participants will creatively explore ideas and devise their own piece of theatre which will then be showcased through-out National Youth Week.

Modelling Fashion

6 weeks starting Weds Mar 3rd – April 7th

Participants will be shown how to be professional, present yourself well and to walk the catwalk with confidence.  The workshop is designed to help people with their poise and self-confidence.  The tutor will work together with the participants to devise a fashion parade to be performed in National Youth Week.

REinventing your wardrobe and sewing classe involve turning an old pair of pants into a skirt or an out of date shirt into a vest, for little or no cost.  The possibilities are absolutely endless.  You can be creative with the garments you own or buy them cheaply at your local charity shop.

Asterix & the Vikings

Asterix and Obelix have been given a tough mission: transform the Chief’s lazy nephew Justforkix into a warrior. Meanwhile, a group of fearless Viking warriors travel to Asterix’s village on a quest to discover the meaning of fear, having heard that fear gives you wings. When Justforkix is kidnapped, Asterix and Obelix must mount a desperate rescue mission in order to save their protégé before the Chief discovers their incompetence.

  • Picnickers are welcome from 6pm
